A Legacy Winery in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA

In 1974, long before Oregon and the Willamette Valley had its booming modern wine industry, Laurel Ridge founder David Teppola purchased a 240-acre farm just east of Carlton, Oregon. With its perfect southern exposure, it looked like an excellent future vineyard site. As luck would have it, the estate vineyard was established in the heart of the Willamette Valley and what is now one of its premier sub-appellations, the Yamhill-Carlton AVA.
